Newbie question

Post by Robbono »

I just purchased a new 2017 Voyageur. I pick it up next week.
I have a lot about the Ivan flash, if I do it it will void my warranty I was told.
My question is have most if you done it. The ones who have not, does your bike run fine like this? I dont plan on doing pipes ir air cleaner.
Comments and suggestions greatly appreciated. I look forward to all of the valueable info im sure to get here.
Ride safe!

I rode my 1700 for 100,000 miles before I installed the pipes (Cobra) and fuel module (Cobra) then the Ivan reflash at 116,000. The stock bike runs very good stock. The engine runs warm, but not to worry. I've had my temp gauge deep into the red zone, with no problems.

This engine in stock form runs lean. So adding new free flowing pipes and new intake system, will just make the engine run leaner. When I added my fuel module it helped in power, cooling and fuel mpg.

Enjoy that new bike
