Well, after much troubleshooting, I came to realize that my coils are kaput! I took them out and had them tested. They all tested at 5 ohms. I'm looking to replace them with Nology or Dyna coils. Does anyone know the right part numbers for these coils for our bikes? And where should I order them from?

Have you checked David Ewing's KZ1300 Cub site yet? Found on the links page.
The Nology coil is PFC-30D. The problem is finding them. The price is around $80 but it seems they are backordered everywhere. JC Whitney list them but I would call first to see if they are in stock. I put mine on a couple of years ago using a similar mounting as David did.
Not real sure on the Dyna part number, David says it is DC1-3. Dennis Kirk list a DC11 for about $148. Dynatek list the DC1-3 for $100, but also list DC1-2 for $160 which might be a pair of the ones you might need.
