USB flash drive with MP3 mode

Radio Mounted into the bike,

Bit more information.. The relays are part of ... wait for it.. Handlebar up/down track or channel select on the module.
There is also an infra red remote control but Im doubting the use of that in bright sunlight and while riding..
If USB flash or SD card is in place, it will start up reading that and playing..
Caveats..
The Tape circuit which this needs to use is inherently "noisy" and hisses but this is only noticeable with the headsets.. Those of you who have the jack input, its no worse than that.
The output of this module is pretty high.. Its adjustable and It tends to start up at max volume which is pretty loud but it seems to have a little "memory" for the presets on the radio etc so it may store the new volume setting .
Line input.. It will allow an input the same as the MP3 socket/GPS/Phone input like I did before.. I can re-use existing sockets on those radios I have already modded..
Radio may not be as sensitive as the stock radio.. Still playing with that.
Once this module is installed, there is no going back to a cassette deck without a new front panel.
MP3 thumb drives. These will need to be the micro sized ones in order for the flap to close and also keep stress on the USB socket to a minimum. I can supply 8gb micros that work fine.
Ok..
I hope this has whetted your appetites... This mod will only be done at my house and not at the rally as its so time consuming.. I have to cut aluminium to make stand off washers to mount this.... Unless someone knows of a good source of rectangular, 7/8"(h) x 1/4"(w) 1/8"(Thick) washers drilled or undrilled.. :-)
I rode to work this morning (International Ride to work day).. Tested all modes except line. Everything seems fine.. No ignition interference or alterternator whine.. :-)
