Hello all,
Did I ever tell anyone about the time that two ........
:-P  :gig: Robin and I had a wonderful time and can add nothing to what has already been posted ,except that if you had the chance to join us and did not take it you missed a great time.
PS:I had no problem cause I followed Gary & Lori's directions and my gps worked perfect after I turned it off.

Hi All,
Trying again to say WHAT A GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We took 2 days to get home trying to keep in back of the weather. Stopped at Long Lost Mine and took an underground tour of a coal mine - it was pretty cool. Many, many thanks to Lori, Gary and Lori's Mom for a gooood cookout and of course for a great ride. Just in passing, mile wise I think that Bob and Robin traveled farther than we did. Hope to ride with you'll again soon or at least next summer in New York.

Glad everyone had such a great time! We enjoyed ourselves too, and glad everyone liked all the destinations. Our Chapter (Keystone Voyagers West) did a ride and tour of the Seldom Seen Mine here in PA several weeks ago, and found that very interesting. I never been in a mine before, and up until that trip had no idea what coal looked like in them- very informative.

Thanks again to everyone, and glad everything went off well.

Hi again,
Need to make a correction . "Long Lost Mine" was really Seldom Seen Mine. I guess the swamp gas deep in NJ got to me. Once again Thanks to all and ride safe until we meet again.

I know this is pulling up an OLD post, but we are in Western PA today.

I saw one Voyager on I-79, just after entering PA. I saw another on I-80, near the Sharon, PA exit.

I thought I had entered Voyager heaven, seeing two in one day. I was hoping to see, and meet, some of you Western PA Voyagers.

We spent time in Greenville, Sandy Lake, Meadville, Conneaut Lake, Linesville Spillway, and back to Meadville tonight.

Tomorrow is on to Erie, and then on to Niagra Falls, and into Canada. Unfortunately we are in a car, and not on the bike.

The broken shoulder is healing, I am in contact with Carl about replacements parts for the wrecked bike, and I hope to be back on the road soon (I should say on the bike. On the road doesn't feel to good).

dapasda, continue healing and keeping those eyes open for Voyagers. They seem to be hidden treasures that everyone else fails to see the value or excitement in seeing.

forplay, you are right! Everyone did have fun. That was a very nice weekend and the day with everyone was excellent.

Hey...one of those was probably me...I was on I-79, got on around Washington PA about 8:30 - 9:00 AM, had to go to Mercer, PA. I traveled I-79 to I-80 West, then the return trip was around 1:00 PM or so... so I would have returned the same way. I hope that you had a good time, from the pictures it appears you did. Glad to hear that you are healing, and I hope for a speedy full recovery.

I bet that was you!! We did have a great time. My daughter enjoyed seeing the hospital where she was born, and where we lived the first two years of her life.

If you ever have to stay in Meadville, I would recommend the Holiday Inn Express. They gave a pretty fair rate. When we checked in they asked if we would like something to drink, and gave each of us a soda. They told us there was a freezer with ice cream, if we wanted any. As I am trying hard to watch my weight, I accepted the offer. :wnk2: They served a good breakfast, included in the room rate.

After we checked in, the housekeeping staff called the room, to ask if everything was OK, and if there was anything we needed. They allowed me to store my freezer packs in their refrigerator. It was the best service I have had ever had at a hotel.

Note: I have no attachment to Holiday Inn. We stayed in several different hotels on our trip.

Well it has been a few weeks of no posting, I am assuming that there isn't an interest in doing the ride/ get together this year? What are the thoughts?

hey tregal16,
Can't promise anything but I might be interested in another get together/ride. Keep pounding the keys and see how much interest you can muster up.
:hmm:

Scott, I have been swamped at work... I was on vacation and when I got back everyone else wants to go so now I have to pick up the slack for them ( I guess turn about is fair play ) Anyway it is getting late to try to get something thrown together of the magnitude of last year's. I know that Furchin had mentioned something about getting together sometime...maybe we could do something there. If anyone has any interest in this or ideas...lets see what we can get started.
