Conowingo Dam
On the Susquehanna River just up river from Harve De Grace MD. It’s a gathering place for bald eagles especially in fall and winter months as fish congregate at the Dam and it never freezes. Just returned from there today. Not too many eagles there today but still a good time and draining a tank of fuel in January is a nice gift. Bring your cameras and binoculars.Lots of nice country roads in the area also and very close to Susquehanna State Park among others in the area.Plenty of restaurants in Harve De Grace. Lots of info on Google .
