I squeezed in a few more "See the USA with the AVA points during this ride. I thought I had pretty much exhausted all the roads through AL, but there will always be a new road I guess.
Eva, AL. The town is in the Guinness Book of Records for the largest hayride in the world.
Electric Co-op formed in 1936.
Leeds, AL decorating for Veterans Day.
I gave this sport bike rider the signal to pass me, but I guess he liked watching the sparks from my floorboards.
If you ever find yourself near Leeds, AL a real nice ride is to take Hwy 25 south to 231.
Hilly, curvy, smooth ride. with nice views.

Leeds, AL also has a historic railroad depot.
I stopped for a snack and got talking with a deputy sheriff who rides a Harley Electra Glide. He gave me some pointers on some nice roads to ride. Here are some pics of the ride home.
Of course I am still running across Civil War Markers that I haven't seen before.
I saw this hisoric church in Veto, AL. It is right beside an old railroad track that has been turned into a "rail to trail".
