This morning I had to be in San Francisco at 6:15 am to ride moto support for the SF Alcatraz Trilithon. I was able to ride over Hwy 92 which is a mountian pass. With the air temp at 52 degrees, a winding road, no traffic, nothing but sunshine (no fog) I felt like I was riding with the wind. Using all of the gears, leaning into turns, with 30# of air in the rear shocks, the front end is loaded enough to handle like a dream. When I left S. F. the temp was 80 what a day.
I got a offical vehicle sticker, a 200# passanger, the course is open season for a hotrodder. the suspension handled all the bumps, dips like they weren't there. Biggest thing I've done is loosened the belt just a bit. Now the rear works wonderful.

Well....that about says it all. What more can a man hope for, other than a good woman who supports his loves?

I agree with you Don, the more I tweak the Voyager 1700 the more I like it. It really is a fun bike to ride and the engine reminds me of the pulling power I feel when driving a F-350 with a Turbo Diesel. Pure pulling torque and smooth. Wife has stated that this one is not going anywhere, so it's a keeper. If you haven't ridden one, you need to. It is hard to believe it's a V twin sometimes when I'm riding. Good Times !!!!!
