Computer code on 1985 Voyager 1300

Post by steeltoe »

I have a 1985 Voyager 1300. Does anyone know how to read codes on the computer? Mine is flashing one long and three short green lights. I can start the bike when it is cold, but if I shut it off, it will not restart when hot. Any thoughts or help?

Looks like you need to get your hands on a manual so you can go through the fuel injection.

Just a few more codes I'll pass on and it may be of help to you.

Also try un-plugging and re-pugging in all related connectors to clear some of the corrosion from the connectors.

one of the best resources for the 1300 Voyager is http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/1300Voyager/.
join that group ,go to the links section .Find and download the KZ1300 base manual, and the ZN 1300 supplement manual and the trouble shooting manual.
Members of that site can give descriptions on checking ,replacing and/or bypassing most any type of problem you can have on the 1300.
Good luck
