1200 rear seat cover

Post by dmwoost »

I am looking for a new seat cover for the rear seat for a 97 1200. The stitching is falling apart so just looking for a new cover, nothing special. I have looked on line but have not found anything.
Thanks,
Don W

The best bet will be E-Bay for a complete seat. I have one but it is off a 89 with the button tuck style.

Or Boat upholsterer!
A friend of mine got all his boat seats recovered and marine grade vinyl would be what you should use anyway. Unless you want to go with leather, but then you'll constantly be conditioning it! NOt necessarily a bad thing, just more work and worry!
Or go with Gator or Ostrich, I hear they hold up well too!

According to Ricardo Montalban the 1975 Chrysler Cordoba has what you need, "rich Corinthian Leather". So find an auto bone yard and go harvesting!
Sorry for the flash back to the 70's!
:gig:
On the other hand maybe an upholster would be a better choice!

To hear the accent just click on the link above "1975 Chrysler Cordoba" and hear in full 1975 television quality. It's amazing how far we've come.
