exploring route 66

Post by phill12 »

We had a ride plan for Sunday may 5th. Since no one but me and the bear showed we went out and explored some of Route 66 between Tulsa and Oklahoma City. Found some new interesting places too!

Nice pics and video!!! :bravo: I plan on being on route 66 from OKC to Tulsa at the end of the month. Heading to St. Louis and then off to Kentucky. That will be my first long motorcycle rides. I am excited!!! :hpdc:

In 2011, I participated with Mother Road Ride Rally, and rode Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica, CA. It was a great ride with about 70 bikes. I started in Hampton, VA and the total mileage was 7,000 miles. It was a great experience! They do this ride every June. Here's the link if you have an interest:
