Tried this method today...taking off E3's and installing Metz 880's....on 2 different VII's.
First thing is to take the tires off. That took at least 4 to 5 times longer..and MANY MORE quarts of sweat ...than the 'old-fashioned' way.
After finally getting one off we tried installing...
.AGAIN...It was simply a horrible experience....
The youtubes all show doing it with radial tires.....That may have been the difference, but with the Bias-plys it was much harder than the old way.
Glad I tried, but surely suggest you.... forget about it! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
