Tire fitment question - again

Post by Van Voyager »

After my long ride to the east I need a new rear tire. Was about to order a replacement when I realized I had new spare almost-the-same-size rear for my Vulcan in the garage. Anyone know if a 150/80-B16 (Bridgestone Exedra) will fit the rear of an 06 ZN1300? The 150/80 should be slightly wider and slightly 'shorter' than the 140/90-16 that's on there now. Thanks for any advice.

Looks good on paper, only concern, will you have clearance for the driveshaft.

Took a close at the swingarm clearances with the 140 tire that's on there now - not a lot of side-to-side room. I don't think a 150 would fit.
