Does anyone know where I could get a shifter for my 2018 Voyager that doesn't have the heel shifter? I don't use it and like the option of sliding my foot back to the back of the floorboards at times. I know I could just hack mine off but one day I might decide that I want to go back to heel shifting.
Thanks,
Jeff

Re: Toe shifting only!
If you can remove the heal toe shifter and get the diameter of the spindle it mounts on I am sure you can take it to a Kawasaki dealer where he can match it up to a machine whose toe shifter would fit it.

Re: Toe shifting only!
That's a good question. After reading your post I've had my eye out looking for a Vulcan that might have a regular toe shifter. Came across a Vulcan 900 yesterday and it also had the heel, toe shifter that the 1700 has.
Looking at how long the toe part of the shifter on the 1700 is going to be hard to find a toe shifter to fit. Good Luck and let us know if you find one that fits.

.. Ok, I hope I didn't oversimplify this... not interested in dissing the heel shifter...
.. why not just remove the rubber thing that you mash with your heel?
... unblocks the floor board, and I guess you could still use it if you
wanted to move yer boot over and stomp on the shifting arm.... JM2C

Re: Toe shifting only!
I have not taken a close look at the setup on the 1700 , but maybe here is a solution...
Why not just purchase another shifter lever and cut the heel lever off at the spline ?

Hacked mine off the first week I had it. Never looked back. If for any dumb reason I would want it back on - just buy a new one.
