100,000 or 200,000 mile

Anyone reaching either the 100,000 or 200,000 mile goals? These are great achievements and the AVA wants to honor you so let me know.

In Hurley we had one member who had reached 200,000 miles on his Voyager 1200, This year I know of one more.

Gene, should be getting real close to the 100,000. Whats amazing is how new these Voyagers still look after all of these miles. If you're at the 30th International AVA Rally, check these motorcycles out. No oil leaks, and they can still get 50 mpg with that mileage on the ODO.

... there was a guy on the VROC.org board that got 500,000.. FWIW ... IIRC it was a 09

Thats a whole lots of miles. I take it thats on a Voyager?

The old trusty '93 is up to about 205,000 miles now. This will be first rally attending on a different bike. Found a good deal on a '99 with 165,000 less miles on it.

Your right Don, These are well built bikes. II have slacked off this past winter and spring on riding in the cold. Well cold for me now, a few years back I rode quite a bit in the winter as long as there was no salt dust. And I would now have 100 K, but being the slacker old fart I have turned out to be , I have a mere 99,068 on it as of today. Here is the great part of this , I have never had the carbs off , nor opened up the engine or pulled the exhaust off. Just taken care of the normal Voyager glitch's such as the coolant leak at the water-log and opening up the final/drive vent and replaced the U-joint, Oh and just this past fall has the wiring open up on the key switch harness. Not to say I have not replaced quite a bit , the last accident totaled the bike, and it has hit the road on both the left and right more than once causing costly repairs. But other than that it's been a keeper. See ya'll at the Rally
