93 has broken carb mounting for accel cable

93 has broken carb mounting for accel cable
I paid a good kawasaki knowledgeable carb guy to clean the carburetors on my 93. Someone before me could not get the accel cable off so they pried apart the bracket where the cable end slips into. Sonce i had the carbs in my hands i gently tried pushing it back straight. It broke off. Now what? If I had that mounting oiece I would still have to split the carbs to get the piece in there . That is terrifying. I have never seen a more difficult system to get to, work on, install or. Remove in my life.
