Locations Of Held Rallies and Where to Next

Post by Highway Rider »

These are the locations where we have held rally's in.
They are listed by the first year a rally was held in that state and where, if there was more than one rally for that state it is listed on the same line as to when and where.
There are 5 states that we have been to 2 times.
There are 3 states that we have been to 3 times.
That leaves 13 states that we have visited once.

So what I thought was that as you have ridden around this great country I'm sure that you have seen places that would be great to hold a rally at.
I'm looking for your ideas as to where by state and town/city you think would be a great place to hold a rally.

Just because we have been to the locations listed below doesn't mean we can't go there again.

So, submit your suggestions by state and town/city in a reply to this topic, and you never know we may just use your suggestion.

As I am late to the AVA party, I'm sure my "vote" will not hold much weight, but I would be interested in Colorado Springs so anyone who has never attempted Pikes Peak could try their throttle hand at it. Knoxville Tennessee would be another great destination as it is only 1.5 hours from the Dragon...again, for those who haven't experienced it. My suggestion, please just have it in the happy (and cool) middle of the US.

Helen, Georgia is nice with plenty of good rides in the area. But Colorado Springs and Minnesota would also be nice as I have never been there.
I get plenty of hot and humid at home so any place less humid is fine with me!

Prairie Du Chien or La Crosse WI has great riding in the hills of Wisconsin's driftless region is a great area to region. The Ice Age glaciers flattened much if the state but this area was untouched.

Jim,
For lack of something to do this morning of threatening storms I scrolled through AVA material and came upon the list of rally sites. I have to tell you that was a great job listing all of them in order. Thanks for all the memories that flashed through me as I remembered so many of them. Great job. :-D
