Cruise control

Hi Guys ,just a quick question .whilst out the other night I was on a four lane section of road doing about 70mph at which point I tried the cruise
which abruptly brought me down 55 :tho: Is this normal ?no end of fiddling would increase the speed,
any help guys

Check the cable tension in the actuator. There are videos for this adjustment on YouTube, along with threads here on it.

If the cable tension is not the solution, then it might be an actuator/control box issue. Start with the simple/easy, and work towards the complex/expensive end of the spectrum. Cheers!

The actuator cable tension slips, over time. This is the usual suspect, and it is not too difficult to adjust. It makes a world of difference, relieving a host of stressors -- I just wish the other life stressors were so easy to relieve! :roll: Cheers!
