Winter Bike Work (Poll Expired)

Post by Rhinestone Kawboy »

Here's a little poll to break the initial "Oh Shoot, winter's coming" feeling (for many of us). :cold:
As usual, only registered users can vote, but in this case you will be able to vote for up to 3 selections. You can do the installations or work, or have someone else do it. Poll will expire in 10 days.

Well I guess I'll have to add one to the list. Keep looking for a bike so I can do something to it over the winter.
I sold some aluminum cans and some scrap metal today (cleaned up the garage) More money for the Voyager of my dreams. :gig:

Hi JM, had the same thing happen to me. Superbrace was too snug and spread the forks .. Be sure you torque the triple clamp bolts and axel nut to specs before you even think about installing that SB . Then keep buffing out that SB untill it just drops into place with VERY VERY little force. This cannot be stressed enough. I see the new V1700 has 45mm forks which should help solve some of the front end wobbles and flex some of the V1200's suffered from. Good luck. Don S.

This poll will end tomorrow (Sunday) at 4:07 p.m. To accommodate those that may have decided to do more with their bike than they originally "voted" for in this poll, or, maybe even decided not to do what they thought they were, I enabled the poll to be able to change or add to your vote. It will also have marked what you had voted on originally by an X. So, get your final vote in before it expires tomorrow at 4:07 p.m.!
