Close enough Galfer 3 line brake kit for ZN1300?

Post by Van Voyager »

Anyone happen to know of a 3 line Galfer brake line kit with close enough hose length and end fitting clocking that will work on a ZN1300? I know Galfer doesn't make a 3 line kit specifically for the ZN1300 but was hoping there was a close enough kit that would work. I'm meeting up with a guy on the weekend who apparently has a bunch of old Galfer three line kits for sale.

Don’t know about the Galfer brake kit. But I have tried a kit from Hel Performance for ZG1300. It didn’t match.

My best experience is to order custom brake lines. Just measure the length on your OEM lines. http://www.helperformance.com/custom-brake-hose

Or you can make your own. But the difference is not so big between custom line and making your own. At least not here in Norway

Did you contact Don Medina, perhaps he can lead you in the right direction or lead you to someone at Galfer to make up what you need.
