does anyone have a wiring diagram the 89? I got some cruise control parts and I'm trying to figure out how they work.

Sure you have a ZN1300? I was under the impression they stopped making them in 88. In any case, there are a couple diagrams (and several service manuals) that included the basic bike electrics and the audio systems. I wouldn't buy anything, the documents are all available for free if you search around a bit (i.e. https://www.amervoyassoc.org/zn1300manuals.php )
