Smoked Windscreen - Factory or Film Tinted

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to know if anyone knows where one could be found or if a place for tinting the factory plexiglass is out there…every one of the tinting places I’ve called or visited, state that they can’t do film tint on the plastic/Lexan/plexiglass…but I’ve seen it done on a few models…I’ve just haven’t been able to speak with the owner at that time. I didn’t want to do the tinting spray paint (Night Shades) as it is too variable with heavy/light coverage…too easy to make it too dark obscuring any visibility.
