Air Suspension question

Post by Van Voyager »

What do you guys use to seal air suspension fittings? Is sealant even required, or are there O rings? If no O rings, is standard plumbers T Tape suitable?

I'm not sure about the 1300 but the parts listings for the ZN1300 say there are 5 of 6mm o-rings having the part # of 670B1506 for the rear suspension units.
The fork air fill uses the same o-ring as the 1200 listed in the following paragraph.
I know the 1200 uses 5 X 6mm o-rings having the part# of 92055-1100 for the rear suspension and even though the 2 for the front are not shown as a separate part # from the hose if memory serves me correct they are the same o-rings as for the rear units.
As to whether or not the 2 of 6mm o-rings, 670B1506 and 92055-1100 are the same I can not say but for sure the ID. is 6mm and only the width would vary which would of course affect the OD.
