How many still use CB radio?
I ask out of simple curiosity. In the year 2023, with all of the techno-wizardry and electronic gadgets at our disposal...who relies on this decades-old communication device? I believe the vast majority of us are old enough to remember how crowded the channels were back in the 70's and 80's, and how the vulgarity and offers of illicit products and services were the norm. I stopped using CB in my personal vehicles in the late 90's because of all the hatred and nonsense being spewed from the mouths of "Radio Rambo's". With the current speed limits in most states at 70 or higher, who even needs to ask "where's the bear's at, good buddy?" I shudder to imagine asking someone for help over the radio today. Please share your love or disgust with citizen band radio or its operators.

I use it on club rides. My CB (A Midland something-or-other handheld/mobile hybrid) has the NOAA weather channels, so I use it mostly for that otherwise. When the skip comes rolling in with the big mouths from across the country, I tend to turn it off. The only time I really use it is on Sundays on rides with the club.

I know several truck drivers, many of them still do. I've got a cb in my van, haven't used it in years. Dunno if it even works anymore..

Only on the bike and only when riding with a group.
