Camper trailer

Post by Mike in Pekin , Il »

Okay fellow ditch sleepers, I have found a 1996 ventura pull behind camper. The company no longer exists. The trailer is not local so I am in need of information and pictures. Can any help? what is an appropriate price for one of these? thanks in advance/

I don't know if this is the type of trailer you are referring to, this model appears to be made in Canada and is one of the fiberglass egg type trailers

Back when I sold trailers, the rule of thumb was depreciate at 20% the first year, then 10% per year until you get to ten years. After that, it was entirely dependent upon the condition. This was the only pull behind camper I could find, although there was a tent trailer called Ventura II in Aussieland, but the website was unavailable.

I think that may be the company from Australia. I don't know anything about them. I don know that we looked for several used campers before we came tot he conclusion that the best deal was buying a new one from Bunkhouse. They currently have a special and the campers are cheaper than many used ones, but with the improvements that they have made over the years. Good luck. I know that many of the IPV'ers pull pop up campers (around 17 couples) and enjoy the summertime campouts. It is a great way to relax.

I found one listed in Craigs list. Looks 'Perzackly like a Kwik Kamp.

Note: This pic is of a Kwik Kamp on EBay right now!

Very good all-around camper trailer. Probably the style you will see more than any other.

The picture above is titled as a Ventura Camper. You can see why I stated that it looks 'Perzackly like a Kwik Kamp.

Here is a camper I have not seen before! It is mounted on a CM2000 Motorcycle trailer. (Sold by many, many outlets as a Cargo Trailer.)

Would be great for a single or two who can get by with minimal "stuff".

I've always liked these "all off the ground" small trailers, but have given into the ones that have a "front room" with the option of an "Add a Room" and Awnings.

P.S. As much as I love my campers, the boss and I have decided to do the Motel thing at this years Rally. But we will be toting our cargo trailer, so she can bring home some "Stuff"!
