Well, the funeral is Friday, so if we do get to make it, it'll be Saturday. Still uncertain.

Well we are on the road to Ripley and my 86 broke down near Columbia City, IN. Fuel pump went out, thanks to Carl I carry a spare. It took John and I 2 hours to get the pump on right, we got her done! We are behind schedule alittle. Staying the night in Greencastle, IN.
With luck we should make to Ripley tomorrow evening. We are heading down IN 231.

Glad you got 'er fixed. I'd like to sit here and say, that it's those type of things that keep the trips interesting. The other side of me says it most definitely is not.

Hope the rest of your trip (and ours) is uneventful. That is, until we get where we're going!

Jerry Z and I are here in Oklahoma City tonight and will be in Ripley on Fri. It will be 550 miles. We have had cold, wind, rain, hail and today low of 45 degrees and most of the day at 90.

Both of us are riding 2002 Voyagers. Mine just went past 149k and Jerry's at 52k. Yesterday we pushed hard the last 200 miles into Albuquerque NM speedo was at 80 plus, mileage dropped to 28 mph but fun.

Just came in from cleaning the Voyager dont want it to be dirty when we get to Ripley

Tom and I arrived in Ripley this evening. We crossed into TN from MO on 155 and then proceeded to take the back roads into Ripley.
Image
I was getting hungry, but Tom didn't think this place looked too appetizing.

A few Voyagers were already at Carl's when we arrived.

Saturday arrived and my 86 was leeking gas so I headed back Carl's for more repairs at 8:30 AM. Carl met me in the front yard and said let's change your carbs right now. With the help Rick from KC they had the job done in less than two hours! Everyone enjoyed the show before the ride scheduled at 10AM.

Also, for those that were asking about the running light modifications that Mike Soden did when he owned my '01, here's a link to some pictures showing the sockets, etc.
