Front Fork Peg Lights & Mirror Extensions

Post by jaynes »

I finished my fabrication of mirror extensions and Front Fork Peg Lights and wanted to share a couple of pictures. I made the mirror extensions out of HDPE plastic sheet. I made the bracket for the Front Fork lights out of 1/8 metal and chromed them. I purchased the lights separately. How do they look.

I like the lights and extensions.

How about a front on pic with the lights on. Would be interested in seeing what they look like from an oncoming vehicle perspective.

Way cool! How about a photo of the lights (and mirror extensions) from the front of the bike?

Have you had a chance to ride at night to see how much extra visibility down the road the new lights give you, or did you add them mostly so that you might be seen better?

You can purchase the lights from Safeway Motors but you will need the brackets to mount them:

I purchased the lights at speedway motors. I am currently in production on these. I have one set ready to go and 5 sets at the chrome shop. I am also in production on the mirror extensions. I have re-vamped the extensions and the look even better. I will post pictures in the next couple of weeks with the final product.

I don't see why they wouldn't work with rotor covers, they are on the outside of the fork.
