Splicing Wires

Wondering about the best way to splice the trailer wires in so I thought I would ask for suggestions.

The best way to splice trailer wires is to solder the wire joints together and place heat shrink tubing around the splice, then wrap with electrical tape.

Solder, heat shrink tubing, and then cover with tape is what I usually do also.
Swim, bike, run; sounds like fun!!!!
