Turn Signal Lights

I noticed when I hooked up the trailer that the turn signals a very dim when I use them, is there a limit on how much can be in the circuit?
I have the turn signals on there own ,I don't use a convertor I have a five wire system.

Hey Bill, just wondering if your getting a REAL good ground.That's what it sounds like to me. I pull a trailer with LED lights mind you and have no drop in brightness and I have extra lights on the bike.

I have the ground pluged into the accessory ground behind the rear seat. The other lights are OK just the turn signals aren't very bright.
