Thinking about purchasing intercom system for 2011 Voyager 1700. Should I go with the Kawasaki accessories or aftermarket? If aftermarket, what do you recommend?

I went with the Kawasaki system, but back in 2010 I didn't have any choices.

I will recommend you study the features that come with the Kawasaki system when looking at the alternatives.

The passenger has their own volume controls and PTT controls.

You control the volume of the radio, CB, and intercom with the same control pad. While talking on the CB you press the volume and the CB volume changes, while talking on the intercom you press the volume and the intercom volume changes, while not talking you press the volume and the radio volume changes. This way you can have them all at different settings.
The music automatically mutes when the intercom or CB is active.

How do you increase the volume on the intercom system. We have the Kawasaki intercom system on our Vulcan Voyager 1700 but cannot increase the volume.

if I remember correctly, you need to be talking and then use the same buttons to raise or lower the volume on the radio
