DEMO ON THE VICTORY 8 BALL

Post by phill12 »

After the Toy Run Sat. Kent and I went over to Demo Day at 5th gear (Formally Green Country Honda) We Demo rode the Victory 8 ball. I had a little Oops! Next week they will be doing Demos on the Indian! Here is the ride, it was about 10 miles!

This year on Dec 1st at our toy run I get to help out with the Victory test rides again, for 2 days (Saturday and Sunday) I will ride sweep for the groups, I spent most of the time last year riding a Vision, I think it is a butt ugly bike, but what a bike it is, if I ever buy a brand new ride ir will be a Vision. It would be the perfect long haul bike if it had just a little bit more storage, but that's what trailers are for. I played with the electric adjustable windshield a lot, went from lots of air on me to almost no air hitting my face.

......seems as though dealerships allowing "test rides " are becoming more and more common place, back in the 70's and 80's when I worked in a dealership, NO one rode nothin ! ! ever ! ! ....... the shop my son works at, had VICTORY day this summer and then a month later they had can-am day which I went and rode the deluxe touring model of the "two wheels in front" can am.. seemed to "wander" all over the lane and likely will not be on my list of things to acquire , by spring of 2014 they will be a indian dealership as well, looking foreward to test riding them, very pricey in my opinion, when the old voy12 keeps rollin along for free ! :-D

Times are hard. If a dealer can get you on board a bike there is a much better chance you'll spring for it than just sitting on it in a showroom. Psychology 101.
