Does the tail flip up a little to help hold things on? Sort of hard to tell from picture.

Looks like the center is lower than the outer tube.

Yea, after I looked at it a bit more, looks sort of basket like with the centre section lower than the outer rail. :hmm:
Not bad design.

Same one I have on my 2009 Voyager Trike, This model fits just about any trunk, comes with different length legs to fit just about any top curvature.

I found a rack off a Yamaha Royal Star Venture. It has a long chrome support plates on top and plain ones inside the trunk. Got it off eBay form a dealer who had it in his display case. It was a bit frosty, but I shined it up with some Brasso and it looks great. I like it because I think it has better support inside and out.

What I like about my showchrome rack is that it goes well with the high backrest, and has a matching bag.

No The back doesnt flip up,but it is nicely dished as the other posters said.
That being said, the cover of the trunk does not seem to made out of very stout stuff to hold much on the rack.
Seems(for lack of a better phrase)very bendy and I am a little concerned if I put what the rack is rated for(5lbs,i think),I will see dimples under each leg.

flexible doesn't necessarily equate to brittle. not flexible, could mean brittle.

I only put our rain gear and the bike cover in the bag on my rack. You shouldn't put heavy stuff up high anyway.

I do have a spare trunk lid hanging on the wall, just in case.
