My XII's ODO is 45K. Had about 28K when I bought it, IIRC. (I spent the first couple years getting it together -- didn't ride much.) Now it's off-line pending desperately-needed maintenance including a new back tire that isn't through the cords. (It was just bald on the side I had been looking at.) :!!

My miles have been almost exclusively on long trips. For local commuting &etc I use ... nothing. I'm happily retired in the mountains and can go a week or more at a time without firing up anything. The grocery store is 10 miles away, and I typically get there on rough twin-tracks, a long-cut across the mesa, on a dirt bike.

But I've got four big loop trips in the queue, including a winter ride along our southern border. Just gotta get off my butt and finish some chores. At least now I have a nice indoor work space, even if I still need to pull the electricity and finish the insulation/drywall.
:woohoo:

I just went out and checked my mileage 202,275. The day after Christmas was a 70 degree day so Trisha and I went for a good ride.
Trisha's Can Am has 13,000 and change in just six months.
We each traveled about 17,500 last year. With the AVA Rally in Flagstaff, we'll just keep going west to the Pacific Hwy and north.

Loren
I remember those days. NorCal would have a weekend campout, all of the retired members would arrive on Thursday. Trisha and I would leave home on Friday after work. Trisha worked until 5 pm with a 30 minute commute. We'd leave the house by 7 pm., arriving at the campgrounds around 10 pm..
I remember reading about Carl Leo's, BBQ in Ripley, TN. It was 2,000 miles to Ripley from Half Moon Bay. But that summer I retiring, I made it to the BBQ.

Hope you can get the time off to ride to the AVA Rally in Flagstaff!

I used to put a lot more miles on my bike when I worked. I would ride to work everyday all the way up to December when the snow would fly. Then start again in the early spring. Moon shine lunch run would be in the beginning of April. One of the rides I hit freezing rain then snow. Woke up to a frozen bike covered in ice and snow one morning and the roads where covered with ice and snow. I said to myself . Self we are not going anywhere today.
Since the deer crash I now have 2 bikes so I split the miles between them. My 2002 is approaching 100,000 miles on it that I put on it. I brought that bike new. I miss Carl Leo's BBQ but do make it down to Florida once in a while . My goal is to make every rally I can until I get to old no matter how far away .

Gertrude's going to pass yours soon. 99,500 and change as of half an hour ago. By the time I get done today she'll have about 99,600. I was so hoping to hit 100k by the end of the year. So close!

Yeah I could go for a 500 mile ride in the drizzle and fog. Yuck, no thanks. Errands and going out with friends this evening, that's it for 2022.
