Kawasaki 1300 Voyager In-Line Six-Cylinder- 1983-1988
Kawasaki Voyager 1300

Welcome Fellow "Voyager"!
Kawasaki Voyager or any Brand Owner

It is always exciting to ride a great motorcycle, especially the Kawasaki Voyager, but also of course other motorcycle brands. We of the American Voyager Association (AVA) are very happy for you and are sure you will have many enjoyable years letting "The Good Times Roll"!

Now that you are a "Voyager", why not take a moment to apply for membership in the truly international organization that is in existence because of the Kawasaki Voyager, but which also includes our members and friends who "Voyage" on other brands of motorcycles. The AVA's membership has extended throughout the United States, Canada, Belgium, Finland, Germany, England, New Zealand, Norway, and others with new memberships from those or any other countries or regions possible at any time. And, even as we look forward to the new Kawasaki Voyager 1700 that will be available soon, we continue to support the Kawasaki Voyager 1200 and 1300 which are no longer produced. The AVA continues to support Voyager owners and AVA members throughout the world through this website, and with AVA membership, all the items mentioned below. Membership is a very reasonable $30.00 for U.S.A. memberships (single or couple residing at same address), and $40.00 (U.S. Currency) for Canada, and for other countries $60.00 as listed to the left (except Canada). To find out what an AVA Membership will cost in your non-U.S. currency, click here, or on any XE.com currency converter link on this site.

Become a member of the AVA and receive a membership card, logo pin, patch and decal. The membership packet is soon followed by the semi-monthly magazine that is chock full of information about  Voyagers, the AVA, and Affiliated Chapter activities. Several regular features are sure to get your attention. Help support the International Voyager Association that supports you!

You also will receive the annual Inter-National Roster of Members that includes a volunteer "helping hands" section dedicated to the assistance of fellow "Voyager" travelers. There are also many merchandise options that you no doubt may be interested in such as a printed technical tips booklet, AVA clothing and accessories to proudly show your support of the AVA, and some items to dress up or improve your Voyager. New and/or changing colors or items can be added at any time. There is also a Cooperative Dealer Program for discounted accessories and services, and much more. Again, please note that other brands and models are very much welcome to join, and become part of the AVA family.

The AVA network of riders will become your link to good times, knowledge and camaraderie! Take a moment now to review the Membership benefits below along with further information, then, click on the link to the membership application form and join up with the American Voyager Association!

AVA Technical Tips Manual- (Hardcopy- Updated July 2006) Heavily updated and improved!  These are "hands on" technical tips from Voyager Owners, many which are NOT in Tech Center on this website.  Now includes 57 pages of Voyager XII and 1300 tech tips, PLUS 3 pages of replacement or alternate parts or accessories, PLUS another 8 pages of miscellaneous modifications and tips, PLUS a notes section for a total of over 68 pages of tech tips and listings. This is by far the most complete tech tips manual we've ever produced, and comes complete with over 150 illustrations or pictures- and included FREE for all new members!
Voyagers Voice Magazine Voyagers' Voice- This is the Association's Official Publication, published bi-monthly in English, that among other things can include the latest in Voyager Tech Tips, Editorials, Welcome Kaw new member list, letters to the editor, Members Bikes, Voyager 1300 Corner, Chapter listings and events, Remarkable Rides, Voyager Kritters, AVA Adventures, product evaluations, Chapter News, a sales barn or classified ad section, safety tips, as well as many other articles. You can also browse the many advertisers in each issue who specialize in different motorcycle parts and accessories, many specifically designed for the Voyagers.
AVA Roster AVA International Roster- Here is a very handy item for our avid travelers. The Roster, again published in English, contains most of the current membership names and phone numbers and those that can or are willing to offer assistance to fellow travelers. This can come in handy if you are in an unfamiliar location and might like to talk to an AVA member as to restaurant choices, route suggestions, or, if your having problems otherwise, they may be able to help. The roster contains, with the any of the member's consent, names and  telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, and indicates whether they may be able to offer assistance of some type. There is also a current listing of AVA Chapters with contact names and numbers or e-mail, along with some of the AVA supporting dealers around the country (presently USA only dealers). Also, you may find a travel budget chart, travel itinerary form, travel journal, and various other information listings.
This package normally costs $39.99, but for new or current AVA members, it is only $19.99.  The big advantage of this offer is that it includes ROK’s towing package. But in addition to the towing service, you get all the ROK membership benefits as listed on the ROK Benefit for AVA Members Application (available in Voyagers Voice magazine only).

AVA has always had a special spot in it's heart for our military veterans.  If you are a current  USA AVA member and military veteran, or even currently in the military, you are entitled to a free AVA Military Veteran patch (USA AVA Members only).

We truly appreciate all that our military members and veterans do and have done to protect our freedom, and we want to show you our appreciation.  Simply send a copy of your current military ID (all sensitive info can be deleted) or a copy of your DD214 to prove your status.  We will start sending these patches free with membership renewals only, unless there is a special request.  Special request patches will be sent for a $2 shipping fee.

So, if you are a veteran or current member of the military, send in your proof and get your patch!  Let us honor your service!

Do you have loads of miles voyaging on your motorcycle?  Here’s your chance to prove it and show the world just how serious you are about riding.

Any current AVA member who sends a photo of their odometer showing 100,000+ miles along with a note from their local motorcycle dealer verifying the mileage will get a 100,000 Mile Club patch free for their vest!  Patch will be sent out with your next membership renewal, or can be special requested. Special requests patches will be sent for a $2 shipping fee. Send photo and dealer verification to: AVA 100K Patch, 2015 Powers Drive, Lewiston, ID 83501.

No Image Service, Parts, or Accessories discounts- With membership in the AVA, many Kawasaki dealers offer discounts to our members for the above, either some of them or all. With these discounts, you not only save dollars for yourself (usually much more than AVA membership depending on your buying habits), but you also support the dealers that are interested in you, the AVA member.
