Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.

coolant system
I changed my fuel filter today and noticed that the coolant overflow bottle has coolant only up to the bottom indicator line. Does this system work like a car where as it pushes and pulls from the bottle as the coolant expands and contracts with temp? If so, I would suspect this bottle should be filled up to the upper F indicator line. Can anybody please advise me if there is a specific type of coolant required for this bike. Don't want to put the wrong kind in and have to do a full drain and flush. That was just done 2500 miles ago.

The coolant bottle does act like a cars, in that it absorbs the expansion and contraction of the coolant as the engine warms and cools.Any good aluminum compatible coolant is OK,which is what most cars use today.The bottle should be near full when the engine is warm.
