As we say down east, "Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise," we'll be there! Just got home yesterday evening from the Flagstaff rally. Had a great trip and saw a lot of the country that I had never saw before. Hate that the Beartooth Highway was closed between Cooke City and Red Lodge but managed to ride a small portion of it anyway. Beautiful scenery out that way and so wish I could have brought some of that low humidity back to North Carolina!!

Going. We were just staying at the Rally hotel for a Retreads Rally and had a great time. Looking forward to seeing all the Voyager people again.

I will probably be there. I missed the Flagstaff rally because of a conflict. This year's AVA rally again interferes with other plans. I may change the other plans or leave the AVA rally a day or two early.

Made my reservation for the Town and Country Inn. Also made a reservation for the Fox Ridge resort on my way there. Still have to make reservations for my trip but getting there. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the rally. My 96 will be ready. Still need to do some work on the 02 yet.

Hope this answers your question. It was the other day I received an email from our membership director about this. I forwarded your email to the President of the organization who handles the registrations for the rally. Apparently, he has not gotten back to you. I am sure that a Canadian check would be fine as we have other members that are from Canada attend rallies. Now, As far as the exchange rate, I have no idea. Our Canadian members write their checks on US banks. If not, you can send a Canadian money order for the full US amount. I still have no idea on the money exchange.

So after committing to this trip I went for a ride and on the way back the voltmeter showed 12.9 v . Just my luck I thought, I had that alt apart back in Sept. Got home pulled the cover on the alt. and it showed 14.1 v . Well it was the easiest fix ever. The year 2000 has a apx. 8 inch section that takes the choke/coil for the CB install. It was warm to the touch, but not to the point where it damaged the wires or melted the connector. I cleaned the spade terminals and all is well. I am so ready to ride, but dread the trip up over the George Washington bridge. See ya'll soon

I'm planning to take back roads all the way up there - *if* I go. At this point I don't know if I'm going to be able to go yet. I'll likely make it a multi-day trip going up (and coming back, for that matter), camping along the way.

Freeways aren't fun. The GWB is a nightmare in a car, wouldn't dream of going over it on a bike. I try to avoid misery when on the bike LOL.

Still hope to make it to the rally but up in the air right now. Now scheduled for Endovascular repair of an abdominal aortic aneurysm this week. Doc told me not to cancel my trip "yet" and said I might be able to make it if my recovery goes well. Anticipate a couple of days in the hospital and he said "maybe back to normal in a couple of weeks if no complications". Not going to cancel my hotel reservations yet but playing it by ear at this point. Prayers greatly appreciated.

Doc gave me the OK to travel so planning to be there. Doesn't look like much chatter about the rally but hopefully there will be a good turn out!
