Impatiently Waiting

Post by smainbr »

I'm due to receive my Ivanized ECU tomorrow. The turnaround time was less than a week, but I'm ready!

I got Pearl about a month ago, but haven't done much riding yet. I learned of the ignition recall and had her in for the service... about a week and a half. A couple of days after I got her home, I shipped the ECU to Ivan. The only thing controlling my impatience is that it's been either hot as hell here (Louisiana) or raining buckets.

Anyway, I'm happy to qualify as a Voyager owner now and looking forward to interacting with AVA members.

Thanks Bill.

I got the return package from Ivan yesterday... picked it up after work, did the re-install, and took her out for a test ride.

Power delivery is smoother, the temp gauge reading is down a full tick from what it was showing before, and I'm showing just below 40mpg for mostly in-town riding. This is the way the bike should have come from the factory.

Though I was nervous about trusting a major part of the bike to the postal system, everything went as promised and without a hitch.

Ivan has another satisfied customer. Highly recommended.
