Up here we had Fiona come ashore about 80 miles east of me which put me on the so called "good" side of the hurricane. We still have over 60,000 utility customers without power 8 days later.
As for my immediate area we had 90 mph winds and a lot of rain but thankfully my house and workshop did not suffer any damage.
All is back to normal for me at least.
My heartfelt sympathies go out to the residents of Florida and the Carolinas though as I have seen the coverage of the destruction wrought by hurricane Ian. What a terrible ordeal to go through. It's so sad for so many who may never fully recover from the upheaval.
