Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Bad and good day

Post by cushman eagle »

I finally got the Cushman flywheel back, and found it started reliably for a change. Our winter weather broke for a couple days with heavy rains that washed the salt off the roads. The temperature rose to 56 today, so after church , I decided to take the Cushman out for a ride  it ran good for almost 2 miles, stopped fireing and started whezzing :tho: after looking it over,I found out the block cracked down through the bore :cry2:.After pushing it back home,it pushes a Lot easier than a VXII,I did take my XII for an 83 mile ride  So after the bad the good :hmm:

Dennis Carpenter reproductions have new blocks for $1200,and rebuilt used short blocks for $995,so they are available ,but it is going to take some time for me to get the Cushman back on the road. :cry2: Winter maintenance on the VXII takes first priority on my spare change
