Hi folks. Read a little while back were someone installed a small fader to control the instrument lights. I'm looking , but can't find it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

With membership I got a booklet called "Tech Tips". I believe it might be in there. I'm visiting family so can't go check till tomorrow or Monday. Good luck.leghorn1956 wrote:Hi folks. Pierre, I have not read the article but , I would suggest a ( wirewound ) type ; of unit, of proper rating. Keep in mind the dimmer you want the lamps, the more that pot has to give off heat. Try looking in McMaster-Carr or MSC
, or Newark electronics catalog . If I remember there is only two lamps, may not be more than an amp of current . If I find my tech-tips booklet this weekend I will see what other have done. Gene K.

Picked up a wire wound dimer for 3 times the price of the cheap one and voila all is good. A much sturdier piece with a higher rating ; i was told.
