Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!
Hello to all of my fellow Voyagers from sunny and hot Orlando !
I got a look at the 2001 Voyager last night at my buddy craig's house , Am heading over there this morning (Monday) to find out why the cruise don't work, and the headlight hi beam don't work, and replace the fuel filter, then go out riding
More later, and pictures to follow......................................Tony
Is that the farthest you have gone for a service call? When we go on a service call, we charge from shop to shop, that could get somewhat expensive going that far.
as a matter of fact....this is the farthest I've traveled for a service call ! :lol:Got everything fixed on the bike, and went out for a great ride .The engine on the 100,000 mile XII runs strong, but has the usual "hi mileage" issues. very pleased with it. Today (tues) we are riding to Daytona Bch, and spend the day. Am taking lot's of photos to share...Tony
Want to send some of the sun and heat up here? Just spent the last 24hrs without power (or heat)... ice storm with wind came through and took out over 200 poles in central Illinois.
Tony, while you've been gone that terrible storm swept across the midwest and caused all sorts of damage, as broksonic said. I've just been worried about what you may be riding back into just to get home.
Yeah, pics! WE WANT PICS! WE WANT PICS! WE WANT PICS!

Got back to Toledo at midnite after a 18 hour straight thru drive ,and saw a MESS in my yard ! this many sticks only fall from high winds and storms ! ....glad we missed that !
Lots of ice and wind swept up through the midwest while you were lollygagging around in sunny, warm Florida! Wasn't sure if it got as far east as your place. Sounds like it did! OK, get busy cleaning up, buddy!
So the first day of travel to FLA. ,it rained all the way to the FL. line. The ZRX 1100 took a good soaking all the way . Not like it hasn't been wet before....but that made fore less than ideal traveling conditions, (but could have been worse )
I pull the 1100 ZRX behind the van without the burden of a trailer.... it is supported by the class III frame mount hitch, and it has been pulled at speeds of 90 mph plus ,without a wobble
The removal of winter clothing as you head south ,state by state ,is always a very enjoyable thing !
One of the best things that I did ..while I was visiting my old stomping grounds ..was look up the place where I lived 37 years ago, so I stood in the exact same spot ,and had my picture taken outside of my door .
( same dude, different bike
HOLY SHEET ! What happened to the young guy in the first photo ?

I was looking at those hitch haulers so I could take the bike on the back of the MH ,but was worried about having to disconnect the drive shaft to keep from blowing the tire.

The next picture of me.....goes out to Bruce, for saying that I was "lollygagging" in Florida

You musta been in Miami for that "Moon Over Miami" shot!
Well ... I did not make it all the way down to Miami.....and I was not "lollygagging"
I was busy doing some highly technical research as these photos show !
After taking the bike down off of the center stand ....also learned the bike has a a rear flat tire ..........Let's get this bike fixed and start riding.
The last time I was here, driving/riding on the beach was allowed .....not so much anymore. Causing parking congestion, and allowing for $8.00 parking fees .
Me and my ol' buddy Craig Z. He has a 2015 HD ,that we traded off riding bikes.
While out and about, stopped at the local Kawasaki shop for look around.
Stopped at the JP cycle at "Destination Daytona" ,and bought a set of hi-way pegs for the Voyager XII,I installed them out in the parking lot to use them on the ride back !
Enjoyed riding " the loop" as it's called, in the Daytona/ Ormond beach area. There is a
"tunnel of trees" there, that is similar to the one found along the east coast of lake Michigan, on M119 that I am looking forward to riding after leaving the Hurley WI. rally.
Glad to see your having a blast. I would trade a Christmas tree for a palm tree with lights any winters day. Today the winter winds and low temps finally hit us here in NJ. Would have liked to be there with ya'll riding in the heat and wearing a tee shirt. Have a safe trip.
enjoy the heat

What a difference a few days makes ....We are having a little blizzard here this morning ! boy am I glad this was not the weather condition when I was pulling that bike behind the van last weekend ! The hi-ways must be a MESS ! ! and the ROCK SALT ! !
