Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Radio
The face plate on my radio doesn't work. Looking to buy a radio for a Voyager XII . Working with Sierra Electronics to get it working. I will buy a junk radio for the parts. Thank you Richard Welsh

Re: Radio
Pete Franchi is the radio guru so get a hold of Pete at b6sw@hotmail.com.
He may be able to help but if I recall Pete put out a notice of the impending discontinuation of the face plates some time ago.
Still, nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Re: Radio
Hi,
I have an '86. The buttons on the radio were not working, and the tape player was constantly auto-reversing. I sent it to Sierra Electronics and the tech guy says he can fix it.
Also I've seen used Kawasaki/Clarion radios for sale on ebay.
Thanks,
Paul

Re: Radio
I'm fortunate that the one in my 86 still works (as of last summer). While investigating some other issues, I was surprised to learn the drive belt - a common failure point of aging cassette decks - is still available from Clarion.Mr Jensee wrote:By now most of the tape decks dont work.

Re: Radio
Call me lazy but I just dont want to open that faring one more time if I dont have to. I have done it more than two dozen times already since I got it and a tape deck is just not important enough to rip out the radio. Besides I am a talk radio fan. It is all I listen to when I ride unless it is on a weekend. Thanks though.

Re: Radio
I just got a voyager VII radio from Pete Franchi upgraded to the 21st century with Bluetooth.
Nice!! I would only go to him for radio upgrade or repair.
