Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Post by Hadyn »

Hello

I have noticed that I have a chess on the radio that I recently got power to checked and replaced all fuses but I noticed I have the HS icon highlighted on my dial how do you turn that off I tried pressing the HS button on the radio nothing happened. I have noticed that the rear passenger controls have been disconnected and I no longer have them is this an issue.

Some owners have removed the passenger controls, as they are something of a nuisance in the days of bluetooth...

Pete Franchi is the go-to guy for radio repairs and upgrades for these bikes, you can find him easiest on Facebook's Voyager XII and AVA pages.

HS means headset(s), the radio output is directed to the cables instead of the speakers. Usually just a press of the button switches the output, you may have an issue with that button if you are unable to hear any audio and HS is indicated.

It sounds like you have an issue of the "lost screw in the pc board". On the back of the face plate where the function buttons are there are some small screws that hold the circuit board to the face. The screws are know to come loose and fall into the radio. The board will then flex when you attempt to push the HS button. The flex is enough not allow the HS switch to toggle between HS and Non-HS. You have to remove the radio to fix. You could remove the radio and send to Pete to get it fixed and possibly upgraded.

:woohoo:

All fixed with the HS button. I gave it a light smack one or twice and it turned off. The old hitting things to make them work always works. Lol
Thanks for all of the help.
