Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Re: front wheel
I would install it to the right,or left, which would make it easy to put a gauge on it,or fill it

Re: front wheel
most standard 90s should be fine . just make sure it is pointed opposite of tire direction so you don't snag it and tear it off at 90 MPH

Re: front wheel
Personally, I'd point it to the rider's right so it's marginally easier to get to when on the side stand.

Re: front wheel
I haven't, but years ago I had the dealer put a 90 deg. stem on. He showed me he had to roll it to the front at roughly 45 deg. to keep it from hitting. Never have had a problem.

Yep. Again, not something I thought of, but the dealer did.

Re: front wheel
Agreed. For the rear tire, I've found that most shops want to point it away from the brake. But that's a royal PITA to reach under the saddlebag. (As opposed to a garden-variety PITA on the right.)Van Voyager wrote: ↑Tue Apr 26, 2022 8:56 pm Personally, I'd point it to the rider's right so it's marginally easier to get to when on the side stand.
I'm making do with a straight stem in front.

Re: front wheel
If you put a 90 degree stem on the front, take the time to rotate the wheel and see how close it comes to the brake caliper. I ended up placing mine at a 45 degree angle to increase clearance. Also think about what would happen should it rotate and snag the caliper. Angle the stem to your comfort level. I never had a problem with it moving.

Re: front wheel
I have a 90 degree brass thing that I attach temporarily when I check the air in my tires, both Voyager and Vulcan.

Re: front wheel
I tried one of those - it broke on the first air check. I ended up installing a 90 degree valve in the rim (on the rear)Chris Cochran wrote: ↑Tue May 17, 2022 2:34 pm I have a 90 degree brass thing that I attach temporarily when I check the air in my tires, both Voyager and Vulcan.
