Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

I have really thick riding pants with shin, knee, and hip guards in them, and even tho they are mesh, with winter n water liners removed, all that crash padding makes them hard to lift my legs high up in them lol. Fun times, but better safe than sorry, I will get used to it haha
Bend your right leg more, so you're only lifting your knee over the seat (and backrest, if you have one). Also helps eliminate the possibility of kicking the "mute" button on the passenger's radio controls and driving yourself nuts trying to figure out why the radio doesn't work. Nah, I've NEVER done THAT!

I wear full gear, too, except if running local errands on 90+ degree days, then I trade the risk of low-speed (40 mph or so) road rash for the very real possibility of a heat injury if wearing full gear in slow-speed traffic. I ALWAYS wear helmet and gloves, regardless of the heat. And, when I'm not wearing full gear, it's long pants - jeans or genuine vietnam-era cammies. And steel-toed leather boots at all times.
