Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!
Since obtaining my Voyager which was bone stock I have added the following conveniences. A Utopia back rest, A rear tail brake light, LED yellow turn signals under the speakers, A headlight guard from Cee Baileys, a new taller windshield from Cee baileys with GW vent, the recently installed fender accessory with lights, covers for the rear foot rests. Also have, new handgrips, and Kuryakin highway rests. Also added a photoblocker license plate cover for blocking speed cameras, and ram mounts for cups and GPS. Previous owner had installed a cigar lighter accessory port in the left faring pocket.
Looking good. I'd like to know more about the turn signals under the speakers. hard to see from your pics.
As far as the plate goes, I seen an episode on "Top Gear" about them. They were trying every trick in the book including these plate covers. the outcome was that the only way to beat the speed camera (funny enough) was with speed. They ended up beating the camera with a dragster going over 175mph. Nothing else worked.

The license plate cover is from photomask.com. I have had them on my cars and my bike now for 2 years and haven't gotten a ticket. I have to remove them to get the bike inspected every 2 years but that is a minor problem. I learned some time ago after getting two tickets that if they can only read a partial plate they don't pursue it. As you can see by the picture, you cannot read the entire plate from the angle the cameras are mounted. As for the LED lights, the only LEDs I have on the bike, I got off ebay. I simply wired them into the turnsignals under the trunk. This at least gives me high up visibility in addition to the regular turn signals. I wil ltry to post a picture of them this week. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Foot-Pegs-LED-T ... F9&vxp=mtr
I will be licking up my 2000 in the Spring and I have always added safety gear first. Where did you find the fender kit with the lights? I would love this on my bike. Thanks
The fender accessory I won on Ebay. The new lights which I posted a video of I got off Amazon.com. BTW right now they are going for $17 a pair. A bargain in my book. Gene in New Jersey is sending me a chrome fender skirt which I have wanted forever. If you go to Amazon.com and type in Nighlights LED driving lights you can find them. They will require a switch and relay with 2 fuses to work safely.
I too like all of the upgrades. The extra stop light really helps, after I did mine I noticed that cars following me would back off and give me more room when I would brake.
As we discussed at lunch, I haven't been able to figure out where to tie in the brake light. What you see in the picture was when I had it wired where the brake light stayed on all the time because I didn't realize it. Since then I have it wired just for the tail light. Sometime this winter I am going to remove the tour pack and try to locate the proper wire or else tap into a brake light wire on the trunk itself. It is slowly all coming together. I still need to order those SS brakelines from Nor Cal Voyagers when I get through all the spending I have to do this month with Christmas and new insurances starting in January. Then there is Parish and City taxes I have to pay and...
