Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

automotive store antennas

Post by kevinr »

Searching the forums, it seems folks are using automotive store antennas. I stopped by autozone, but it didn't look like any of the antennas would match the bolt size that the voyager mount uses. Is there some sort of adapter people are using? I saw that one of the built in adapters is for screwing in over a cut down piece of an original antenna. Wasn't sure if that was big enough either. Wanted to ask on here, before I wasted a few bucks on something I can't use. Thanks again.

I got a universal fit antenna from either Wally World or Amazon, I forget which. It came with multiple adapters, but the one that was installed already on the spring fit just fine. It was really inexpensive, too, like three bucks or so.
