Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Leak free once again!

Post by Conrad »

So a few weeks ago i was warming up the bike for a ride, suddenly a huge puddle of gas!! Remembered a slight gassy smell a few days prior (no puddles yet), and realized it wasn't going to keep till winter :(.
Was hoping for a bad fuel line, as a previous owner had replaced some with the clear kind that was rock hard. Alas, it turned out to be a bad o-ring at the carb fuel inlet.
Boy you really need to remove half the bike to get to everything, mostly because of that secondary air box.
Luckily for me though this unit was pretty well cared for most of it's life, for being 30 yrs old all the hardware is still rust free, and all the rubber parts are still pretty supple. Not usually my luck lol.
All better now though, plus new fuel pump, lines, filter, and carbs re-synched. 30 mile shakedown done, more miles tomorrow!!😀
