Does anybody have step by steps on how to tighten the nut with pics?

The steps are in the service manual, with pictures. Also, the steps were posted here someplace, thought it was in the tech section on the AVA homepage (amervoyassoc.org) but I can't find it. I just did mine and it was pretty straight forward though I had to play with it for a while to figure out how to get the forks back into the top of the triple tree. After the first time it was a snap. If you use the "tap-'n-torque" method (a hammer and screwdriver or piece of flat metal) you won't need to take the top of the tree off. I used the special socket made by Gene Kap (ekap1200.)

I finally got around to fix and this, it was very easy to do. Hammer and a flat tip screwdriver did the job.
