Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

Question on Voyager codes

Post by xhogger »

I was looking at two Voyagers for sale - one said it was a VN1700AA and the other was a VN1700BCFL. Both looked identical. Can someone tell me what these codes mean? :please:

Are they a 2010 and 2012? The 2012 California emissions? You can look up the bikes on Kawasaki's website. I haven't navigated the new site yet,so can't point you.

There are several differences between the 2010 and the 2012 models. The 2012 has slightly changed gearing to address riders complaints about noisy shifting, slightly quieter exhaust, GPS connection into the stereo, slightly narrower belt, and the largest change is the KAMS (Kawasaki Air Management System). KAMS introduces fans that move engine heat away from the rider for improved rider comfort. You can add the kit to the '10 model for $400 and your time, or more if you have to pay someone to add it. Factor that into the price difference between the bikes.
