Hello everyone! As of today, we have 90 registered! That's going to be a great turn out!
Just a reminder that rally registration closes on May 9 so that we can place our t-shirt order for the rally.
If you are coming, but have not sent in your registration, do it TODAY or TOMORROW!
After that, we will not accept any orders for t-shirts. We order a few extra of the most common sizes for the rally. You can only get what is available.
Have you all made your hotel reservations? If not, do it NOW! If our blocked rooms are full at Laquinta Inn, you'll have to find other lodging.
See you all soon!

We had a wonderful time at the MAV rally. Thank you, Kevin and Holly, for all you did to put the rally together. We had great weather, except for a light shower near our home about 3:00 this afternoon. The destination for Saturdays ride was also certainly a worthy addition to the ride.
IN NEED OF PHOTOS. HERE is a sneak preview of what we have now. If any members of the M.A.V. have any photos of the chapter ride in. Please send them to me and Ill get them in the slide show. Thanks, Gene Kap
...enjoyed the slide show very much ! Thank you for posting !
You guys had great weather for travel, always a BIG plus by bike ,when you commit to the trip ,and pay for your hotel reservations a month in advance ....you really don't know what kind of weather you may run in to !
but that's part of the ol saying "where is your sense of adventure" (my wife HATES that saying when I use it )....again .....thanx for the pics !..................Tony
Good job on the pic's .
The large concrete bridge in the background was our destination,It's the Tunkhannock Viaduct/Nicholson Bridge it's the largest concrete bridge in the country. http://historicbridges.org/bridges/brow ... nkhannock/
We had a great time the hole weekend and even had a little excitement on the way home.
About 2 miles north of a town called Danville on route 54 we were cursing right along and about 50 yards in front of us this big black thing came over the guard rail and on to the road.
At first I'm thinking whats a big dog like that doing out here, then I realized it was a bear.
So I hit the breaks and pulled off to the side of the road right across from where he was going up a bank into the woods.
He stood there and looked at us for a little then slowly went on his way.
Of course until we got a camera out he was in the woods.

Yeah my wife and I had a good time. We got a little wet this morning, riding from Oil City to Eastern Ohio. It finally cleared up after we got into Ohio. We got home around 3:00pm. ohiojack
What a difference one week can make in the weather ! For those of you that attended the MAV fall ride in last weekend the timing could not have been better ! I could not make it this time, but I got in a couple of nice rides around here in outstanding fall weather last weekend.,experiencing the exact opposite this weekend COLD,WET,and WINDY no riding................Tony
ohiojack wrote:Tony: Maybe next weekend, I understand we're going meet up in the next couple weeks. Looking forward to ride with you and Pam. ohiojack
Yah,Tony,I mentioned to Jack during the rally,I would like to meet up at the Jolly Rogers, maybe the 18th. I found out the 11th won't work.Would that work for you if the weather cooperates?
...... Yes Loren ! A meet at Jolly Roger's would work for me............any reason to ride before is what I want !!
Now,.... knowing that Peg is allergic to ALL things "seafood"(after our last ohio seafood rally " I guess she could walk across the street to the KFC ....you have my cell# call me and let's get it set up ! I'm all in !(the sooner the better) we are running out of time ! If any one else would like to attend.... let's get a date set up,and hear back from "ohio Jack"...............................Tony
